Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator – 2nd shift

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator to safely operate tractor-trailers and forklifts to transport raw material and finished goods between LOCAL company-owned facilities in the Bolingbrook, IL area. Opening is on 2nd shift, 3pm – 11:30pm. $24/hour.

As a Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator, you will

• Safely operate a vehicle by following company protocols and obeying state/local traffic laws at all times
• Ensure vehicle is in proper working condition and meets all DOT regulations by performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Report any mechanical or maintenance problems to shift leads or supervisors
• Use forklifts to transport various material within the manufacturing and warehouse facilities and to load and unload various inbound and outbound freight from the company truck
• Utilize RF Scanner and computer systems to ensure accurate delivery of goods
• Print and post-BOLs
• Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company
• policies/procedures
• Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition; clean and maintain equipment
• Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates will

• Have at least 3 years of steady experience related to the role as outlined above, including driving experience
• Have a valid Class A CDL Driver’s License, required DOT certification, and a clean driving record
• Be registered in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse database
• Have experience operating a forklift
• Possess extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Have great attendance and punctuality
• Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
• Be able to work well with and motivate a team
• Be able and willing to work weekends and overtime, as business demands
• Be fluent in English
• Authorized to work in the United States
