Home Care Assistance Alaska is seeking experienced PCAs or CNAs looking for hourly and Live-In shifts in the Anchorage and Girdwood area, 24 Hr shifts require 3 days minimum. To be considered for this position you must have at least 1 year of paid, professional caregiving experience. (In-Home care, assisted living, hospitals, or group homes). Must have dementia experience.

Caregiver Job Benefits:

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist Client with all ADL cares; eating, bathing, toileting, dressing, medication reminders, mental stimulation, talking/listening, reading aloud, and providing social and emotional support
• Assist Clients with IADL cares; meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, organizing and managing mail, grooming and dressing guidance, and recreational activities.
• Records and reports changes in clients physical condition, behavior, or appearance.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Passion for caring for Alaska's unique aging and disabled adults
• At least 1 year of paid caregiver experience (in-home care, home health, assisted living, hospital, military, live-in nanny) preferred;
• Clean background check and driving record
• At least 2 professional references
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and valid proof of insurance
• CPR/BLS highly preferred
